I was brought to HCA Ocala Hospital on December 9th as a level 1 trauma. I was hit by a car while on my way home from work on my motorcycle. Everyone from EMS, the emergency room nurses and doctors, the in-patient nurses and doctors, lab, physical and occupational therapy, food services and house keeping were incredible! The level of care that every single person I encountered provided me while I was there was nothing short of exceptional. I cannot thank everyone enough! Although I still have a long recovery ahead, the care I received while in the hospital helped set me on the right path. I also need to shout out my surgeons, Dr. Goldstein and Dr. Gupta who put me back together, they both are incredible! Thank you!!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Deenesh Sahajpal. He treated me for a leg issue and was very professional, attentive, and clear from the very first visit. He took the time to listen carefully, explained every detail of my condition, and provided a treatment plan that truly helped me recover. You can tell he has great experience and genuinely cares about his patients. The staff was also very friendly and efficient with appointments and follow-ups. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled orthopedic specialist.

I was at HCA for 4 days. Each nurse, CNA, tech and support staff member explained any procedure to be done and confirmed my understanding of it. They were clearly concerned that I understand and follow safety procedures and request assistance when needed. The meals were excellent, probably surpassing most restaurants in town. The doctors explained test results and recommended appropriate followup. I appreciate the kindness and compassion shown me at HCA.

I found HCA HOSPITAL A FINE PLACE TO HAVE BOTH MY SURGERY AND WELLNES CARE, BEFORE I was moved to Encompass Rehab center. All of the rehab people at Encompass were very knowlegeable and well practiced in their care for their patients. MATTHEW HETRICK IN THE pharmacy was very well informed of my needs in medication. I did refuse to take their inhaler which gave me a raspy cough, SORE Throat. Evidently THEY DON'T CARRY MY 7Advair HCA which is what doctors Yommie Lee and Dr. COLBERG HAD ORDERED FOR ME WHEN I VISITED WITH THEM.. THE nursing staff was great and tended to all my needs,q a l including keeping an ice machine filled wit a certain line of water and the rest with ice.

I was admitted on March 2nd with very painful cracked vertebrae. The staff on every shift were all awesome . I was on 3rd floor. Very happy with the care. Although the MRI staff got confused... it was on, then cancelled, on again then off again, was discharged without the MRI that the neurosurgeon ordered. Very confusing for me.

The care I received was Excellent !!! Tina Lowrey went above and beyond in making my stay memorable and comfortable. My stay was in room 368 and the nurses for that room were attentive and made sure i was medicated as the doctor ordered. The technicians, Fawn and Gloria gave me the best care possible. I have to give a huge thank you to the HCA Florida North Florida Hospital team in Gainesville and Ocala for taking such amazing care of me. Dr. Middleton (at the Gainesville Location) was truly incredible. He addressed my medical needs thoroughly and refused to send me home, even though I wasn’t too fond of staying. But I appreciate him making me fully aware of how serious the situation was. A special thank you to Charge Nurse Tina at the Ocala hospital (3rd floor Med/Surg) Mikayla (PCT), all of my incredible nurses and other staff, you all were absolutely amazing. Top-tier care, seriously. This is what patient care is all about! 1000/10

The echo tech Gary was wonderful! Very professional and explained everything. All of the nurses were great. Doctors and rounding staff were professional and detailed. Kevin a night tech on the 3rd floor was also wonderful. Made my stay very pleasant 😁 …

Dear leadership: This is not the first time I’ve used your facilities. My other experiences were good to average. This visit had a better feel starting with initial contract. Pre-opp services were wonderful with pleasant interaction with all staff members. Noticing, everyone knew all the steps that were executed in a smooth manner. Post-ops: in a regular room, again very pleasant and calming. Interactions with all the staff was wonderful. I do appreciate all the attention provided to me. Everything was just outstanding. I only had 3 meals, each meal was prepared wonderfully. The meals were at temp and full of favor. This visit was an improvement over my other visit, which was great. My point of view, HCA designed great procedures that were executed nicely. Hope this helps. Hospitals are not an event to look forward to, however, the care I received - truly helped! On 11/23/25, after an airboat accident, I was rushed here by ambulance for emergency surgery. What could have been one of the most frightening experiences of my life turned into a story of incredible care, compassion, and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by an amazing team. After surgery, I was moved to the fourth floor, where every single person I encountered — from housekeeping to food service — went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. The kindness throughout this hospital is truly something special. And I have to give a heartfelt, enthusiastic shoutout to Amy, my daytime nurse. Amy’s care was beyond anything I have ever experienced. Her skill, compassion, encouragement, and positive energy made such a difference in my recovery. She didn’t just provide medical care — she brought comfort, confidence, and reassurance every single day. Amy is an absolute rockstar, and I am so grateful I had her by my side during this journey. While I wouldn’t wish trauma on anyone, if you ever find yourself needing trauma care, this is absolutely the place you want to be — especially if you’re lucky enough to have Amy as your nurse! Thank you all for helping me heal and for getting me back on my boat! 🚤💙
